All harvests start with tiny seeds. The seeds slowly break out of their shell, grow and become something grand, worth sharing and celebrated with others. We take the time to put our hearts and souls into the dirt and care for our plants with the hope that we're giving it what it needs and we'll get something good from it. Our bodies should be no different!

We focus on optimism, balance and harmony, building mental and physical strength through movement and practices, such as martial arts, yoga, and traditional archery. Since 2016, Harvest has been loved by the Downtown Franklin community, constantly evolving and continuing to bring award winning programs for all ages to experience. We love being a part of local festivals, parades, school programs, and events. Owners, Amber Joy + Justin Martin aren't natives to this state but have been a part of the downtown Franklin scene for over 20 years, with a reputation for genuinely taking care of others in the community.
The Harvest Concept, formerly Harvest Martial Arts, opened in 2016, and is long known for its specialty in teaching Han Mu Do, the traditional Korean art of self defense, and is the only Han Mu Do school in the state of Tennessee.
Ages 3-6 | 35 minutes
The Sprouts program is designed to help develop the mind and body of preschoolers. The curriculum is based around martial arts movements. The Mighty Sprouts martial arts classes are taught in a fun and exciting format that helps kids develop basic motor movements, strength and flexibility, self control, focus, discipline and essential character qualities.
Ages 3-6 | 35 minutes
Sprouts yoga allows kids to stretch, imagine and understand that their bodies, brains and breath work together! We'll breathe in different ways, make animal sounds, practice balancing poses, talk about healthy decisions and explore our emotions and turbo strength.
Junior Han Mu Do Class - Foundations + Advanced
Ages 5-13 | 45 minutes
The Han Mu Do junior classes will follow the curriculum designed by Dr. Kimm. The Junior martial arts classes are designed to teach students self defense, fitness, confidence, mindfulness and sound moral character. Students will receive a great workout in every class by practicing traditional techniques, forms, weapons, sparring and board breaking.
Ages 14+ | 60 minutes
The Han Mu Do Adult Classes will follow the complete curriculum. The adult classes will be very active and will help students develop high levels of fitness, build self defense confidence, mindfulness and sound moral character. Students will learn self defense martial arts techniques such as joint locks, throws, pressure points, weapons, and striking. These skills will be built with partner training, sparring, and forms work. These martial arts classes also include Ki Breathing and mindfulness practice in order to ensure balance by training mind and body.

Korean traditional archery will challenge you and bring students to new levels of focus.
Ages 16 and up | 45 minutes
Art in Movement fitness classes are based around kickboxing and bodyweight movements. These intense classes challenge your body to build strength, speed, and cardio. Intervals of hard work and recovery help the body to push through and accomplish goals. Students train for weight loss, fitness, and fun!
Age 13 and up | 60 minutes
Power Yoga, is a vinyasa flow. This is a non-heated, Baptiste-inspired yoga class. Yoga is a practice, so embrace every practice with grace. We'll be coordinating movements and postures with breath and focus on physicalness, possibility and empowerment. This class is both challenging AND relaxing, a great workout and work in!
Age 13 and up | 60 minutes
YOD stands for Your Own Determination. It is a yoga class that combines intentional movement and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) to challenge you and stretch you mentally, physically and emotionally.
The programming is designed to hit every aspect of your physical fitness, while creating mindfulness and awareness of your body. YOD incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, speed, power, endurance, agility and coordination. The perfect complement to physical fitness or your yoga practice. Feel your muscles burn during the workout, feel your mind and body at peace by the end of class.
