We teach and specialize in Han Mu Do, the tradition Korean martial art of self defense. Harvest is the first and only Han Mu Do academy in the state of Tennessee. We're definitely redefining martial arts and teach more than just martial arts. We provide an eclectic mix of amazing classes, martial arts, self-defense training, kickboxing and every day fitness, traditional Korean archery and Baptiste-inspired power yoga.

In doing this, we take care of ourselves, support others and ultimately make a better world! OKAY, So What is Han Mu Do?
Han Mu Do is a system developed after 40 years of knowledge and training by Dr. He-Young Kimm. It is a collection of traditional Korean Arts that includes striking and kicking techniques, throws and takedowns, joint locks and pressure points for self defense situations, along with traditional weapons forms and techniques including sword, staff, short stick and knife.
It provides more than just a self defense focus. The Student Creed includes three tenets: optimism, balance and harmony. These will be taught and emphasized as students develop and grow, in and out of classes.
Ages 3-6 | 35 minutes
The Mighty Sprouts program is designed to help develop the mind and body of preschoolers. The curriculum is based around martial arts movements. The Mighty Sprouts martial arts classes are taught in a fun and exciting format that helps kids develop basic motor movements, strength and flexibility, self control, focus, discipline and essential character qualities.
Han Mu Do Junior Class
Ages 5-13 | 45 minutes
The Han Mu Do junior classes will follow the curriculum designed by Dr. Kimm. The Junior martial arts classes are designed to teach students self defense, fitness, confidence, mindfulness and sound moral character. Students will receive a great workout in every class by practicing traditional techniques, forms, weapons, sparring and board breaking.
Han Mu Do Adult Class
Ages 14+ | 60 minutes
The Han Mu Do Adult Classes will follow the complete curriculum. The adult classes will be very active and will help students develop high levels of fitness, build self defense confidence, mindfulness and sound moral character. Students will learn self defense martial arts techniques such as joint locks, throws, pressure points, weapons, and striking. These skills will be built with partner training, sparring, and forms work. These martial arts classes also include Ki Breathing and mindfulness practice in order to ensure balance by training mind and body.
Korean Traditional Archery Class
Ages 3+ | 45 minutes
Korean traditional archery will challenge you and bring students to new levels of focus.
AIM Kickboxing and Fitness Classes
Ages 16 and up | 45 minutes
Art in Movement fitness classes are based around kickboxing and bodyweight movements. These intense classes challenge your body to build strength, speed, and cardio. Intervals of hard work and recovery help the body to push through and accomplish goals. Students train for weight loss, fitness, and fun!
Age 13 and up | 60 minutes
Power Yoga, is a vinyasa flow. Yoga is a practice, which means you should approach it from a place of "anything's possible." You'll be coordinating movements and postures with your breath. The body will start to warm up through a series of poses, then we slowly start to cool it down, making this class challenging AND relaxing. A great workout and work in!
We also have private instruction available for single or groups.
